Kristen’s Puma Build

Bought 4 x 13″Escort Ghia MkII Rims today and have now cleaned my steering column and had 2 extra keys cut for the ignition.  Time to get another part!!

Today, my husband Richard went out and bought a big drum of De-Greaser and a stiff brush for me to clean-up the steering column ready for painting.  Meanwhile I’ve spent the day surfing the internet looking for parts and working out what extras I want to add!! I like my way better…… less strenuous, mind you, I will have to get busy sooner or later!!

Today I bought a TC Cortina steering column and attached ignition lock!  Yeah ha - here goes nothing!!

Hi and welcome to my Puma build site. I live in beautiful Adelaide in the Australian state of South Australia. This web log is my attempt to record my build. My interest in clubmans started when a friend invited my family to a Lotus weekend over Easter at Mallala in 2007. It started in earnest today, and I anticipate a build time of approximately 2 years, so with any luck, I will be finished in July 2009.

The site will be fairly sparse to begin with, but I hope to update it regularly with reports and pictures of my progress (or lack of !). Please feel free to provide feedback. I am open to all ideas and would especially like to hear from other builders. One of the reasons for choosing a Puma is that it is built here in Adelaide.
