Well just when you all thought that it had been quiet on the home front I’ve been busy working on the car.

I’ve been cutting out panels, fixing some of them onto the car and working on the floor.

First, I placed all of the templates inside the car to make sure they fit.  Then I traced panels and cut them to fit the car.  After much Sikaflex and many a stainless steel rivet, most of the inner panels are now fixed to the chassis.  As you can see, the chassis is now upside down so that I can work on the floor.  I laid the aluminium over the chassis, traced around the outside with a whiteboard marker and then attacked it with a jigsaw, hand saw, angle grinder and hand file until finally it looks just like a bought one!!
