What seemed to take an eternity to finish is finally finished! The transmission tunnel insulation and double skinning is complete!! The car is back on it’s bottom now and is looking more and more like a car again. Now the next challenge is the brake, fuel and emission lines.

Have just returned from Slackville and now am trying to do little bits to the car each day. Saturday 1st March I made up some templates for the inside of the transmission tunnel. Finally today, I managed to cut them out and start fitting them to the car. Here you can see a picture of the first piece held in place with clamps. I cut it slightly larger than it needed to be and am now hand filing to get it as near as perfect as I can. Stay tuned!!
